Good afternoon and welcome to our frugal screens!
After the inevitable hickups, digital massage and a steep learning curve: our United Maps' mapserver is up and running in Beta. Our latest visualisation will be rendered and addiditional pedestrian navigation demos deployed over the weekend. Kudos to Klaus Hopf on our side and both Lars Schmitz and Rainer Herzog at ESRI Germany Professional Services for the funky interface and conceptual input.
If you were using our initial Showcase - please stay tuned, we prepare a new, role-based authentification and keep you posted.
The mapserver will be used to demonstrate the difference that highly detailed maps make for any kind of desktop-based or mobile application. We'll showcase further application examples, a range of international cities and test data sets.
